Digital download service Bigpoint is soon to distribute EA’s Play4Free titles across the world, the companies have announced.

Lord of Ultima will be the first of many EA games to be available via the service, starting this month. It’s a browser-based strategy game set in the Ultima universe. That’s hardly the most exciting game, but you can expect bigger games to follow. Games like Dragon Age Journeys, Need for Speed World, and Battlefield Play4Free may well hit the service in the near future.

Play4Free has come a long way since EA launched Battlfield Heroes, perhaps this is the next step to the company delivering even bigger titles in this department.
