Vampire franchise BloodRayne is making a return, albeit in one less dimension; Majesco’s announced that BloodRayne: Betrayal, a Wayforward Technologies-developed side-scroller for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, is expected to arrive sometime this summer.
The new hack 'n slash adventure teams Rayne up with “a mysterious new friend to stop an evil vampire massacre,” which, while not confirmed, sounds very cooperative’y.
Stylish 2D side-scrolling action is promised, though the briefest of teasers, above, doesn’t reveal much on what to expect.
