A demo is always best when it’s for a game that sounds interesting, like Call of Juarez: The Cartel, which takes a wild west-based shooter series to modern day. That little taste can suggest if their big risk has paid off. So good news: in a recent interview, developer Techland’s Blazej Krakowiak confirmed one is coming. The main topic is the game’s (oddly numbered) 3-player co-op mode, but when asked about a demo he stated the following: “There will be a demo, definitely. Probably a co-op demo, but I can't tell you whether it will be before or after release. We are thinking about it, so you can safely say you can expect it, then.”

Before would certainly be nice, but either way expect an end product some time this Summer on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
