We’ve already heard how Ryu’s return to consoles with Ninja Gaiden 3 will be a more accessible entry in the franchise, but there’s more in store for this slash ‘em up. Namely, multiplayer is on the table.
Project lead Yosuke Hayashi explained in April’s Official PlayStation Magazine that the game will feature a “complex” multiplayer mode. That’s about all he mentioned, but with an E3 blowout promised, we’re bound to find out more soon.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 featured online co-op although it didn’t make much of an impact. We can’t really see the franchise going competitive, so maybe 3 will build on this.
