Namco Bandai told us how Ridge Racer Unbounded was going after Need for Speed and Burnout with words a few days back; now they’re telling us with video.
There’s no gameplay in this short clip but it makes the series’ new direction more than clear. Had it not been branded with the logo at the end of the trailer we could easily mistake this for a Burnout game (albeit a pretty tame looking one).
Still, we’ll wait on gameplay to judge if this one really can contend with the kings of arcade racers.
