Guitar Hero might be dead, and Band Hero and DJ Hero with it, but the brand may not be totally buried just yet.

Kotaku are reporting that Activision are at work on Dance Hero, a new game that’s sure to utilize motion controllers for all three systems. We first heard about this one way back in 2008. A current tracklist includes artists like The Prodigy, Timbaland (bet you never thought you’d see that name on this blog), and Jay Sean, although a final release is sure to feature a whole lot more songs to get our groove on to.

Does Activision have a Dance Central contender on its hands?
