Indie developers Adhesive Games are working on Hawken, a multiplayer mech FPS powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine which, if the team has its way, will hopefully be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC as a downloadable title at a “relatively low cost.” Sometime.

Offering classical game modes such as Team Deathmatch and Free-for-All Deathmatch in conjunction with “two unique team game modes,” Hawken is without a doubt a game we’d love to take a deeper look into, and looking at the first gameplay footage embedded above, you will understand why.

Except for the fact that it’s a “work in progress,” further details are yet to be revealed, but we’ll keep an eye out for this one. And you posted, of course.
