Following the demise of APB developer Realtime Worlds, one team member has moved on to found a new studio.

Roland Peddie, Realtime’s BAFTA-winning audio lead, has set up People Pilot, which will remain in Australia. It’s designed as a studio for outsourcing, made up of contractors. Peddie told Gamasutra: “Different projects require different team sizes, and that is easy to accommodate under this model. It works well for audio, so I’m betting it will work for art and technology too. Even at this very early stage it has enabled collaborations that would not have worked at a traditional studio.”

First up from the new dev is a Windows Phone 7 title, Art Sport. The team hopes to work across a range of platforms though.
