Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment e NetherRealm Studios hanno annunciato che la demo di Mortal Kombat sarà disponibile dal prossimo 8 marzo per PlayStation Plus, per poi diventare scaricabile anche da tutti gli utenti PlayStation Network dal 15 marzo. Successivamente - data non ancora specificata - verrà pubblicata anche su Xbox Live.
Nella demo si potranno controllare Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Mileena e Johnny Cage nelle due differenti arene di gioco Living Forest e The Pit.
Mortal Kombat è previsto per il 21 aprile su PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360.
