It’s official. Call of Duty: Black Ops is now the best-selling PS3 title of all time. Publisher Activision made the announcement this week; Black Ops has now sold more than 6.37 million copies on the system, which was the previous mark held by Gran Turismo 5.
It’s kind of a strange record to break, since both GT5 and Black Ops were released in November of 2010. Perhaps more telling is that Black Ops has now sold significantly more than its 2009 predecessor Modern Warfare 2, which has sold 4.8 million copies to date.
