Looking to get the most out of Battlefield 3 right from the get-go? Then you best go and pre-order the Limited Edition, especially if you hold Battlefield 2 close to your heart; DICE and EA have confirmed that the game will ship with four fan-favorite maps including weapons, vehicles, rewards, achievements/trophies, etc. in an explosive package called Back to Karkand.
All of the aforementioned will of course be re-imagined using the studio’s new Frostbite 2 engine. Visuals, audio, physics and what arguably matters most, destruction, will be enhanced by the new tech, some of which was put on display in the first gameplay teaser yesterday.
Battlefield 3 is set for a vague Fall release later this year on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
